Developing Legal Professionals
Whether you’re straight out of university or looking to progress from a paralegal role; we provide the best platform for you to qualify and begin working as a solicitor.
With our Developing Legal Professionals Programme, we aim to:
- Help guide learners through the process of passing SQE1 & SQE2
- Develop the competencies required on qualification as a solicitor
- Improve core legal practitioner skills and business skills
- Offer a pathway to the award of an LLM in Legal Practice
Our learning structure replicates work-based transactional tasks, so individuals can work independently when performing the responsibilities commonly assigned to newly qualified solicitors.
Included in the programme is our full course material provided via our online portal; individual supervisor teaching and support, practice questions and assessments.
Our trainees enjoyed the practical nature of the courses. With a focus on realistic scenarios, the range of skills and knowledge covered proved valuable in preparing them for future practice. The flexibility of the learning enabled them to fit the courses around their work and personal commitments, making these courses ideal for both trainees and paralegals.
Legal Services Professionals - coming in 2022
This programme offers a series of practice-focused modules and short courses for legal professionals with up to five years of post-qualification experience in private practice or in-house.
Our modules recognise the incremental progression required for a qualified practitioner building up their transactional and project management and client-facing skills.
Each module is divided into multiple units which are conducted over a number of weeks. These are flexible and adaptive to the requirements of the learner and their employer. Short 3-week courses will be are available in each practice area, and each full module will provides a total of 20 credits (200 notional learning hours) of training.
Our modules will focus on the following specialist areas of legal practice:
- Acquisitions & Finance
- Commercial Law
- Commercial Property
- Dispute Resolution
- Employment Law
- Family Law
- Intellectual Property
- Personal Injury
- Legal Business Skills
Learners will be awarded an MSc in Advanced Legal Practice should they obtain 180 credits.

Leadership & Management Professionals
The Leadership and Management Professionals Programme will offer legal professionals with at least five years of post-qualification experience a holistic understanding of the business of legal services. It helps develop strategic, operational and economic insights and the personal and professional intelligence and skills required for successful legal practice.
Short 3-week courses will be are available in each practice area, and each full module will provide a total of 20 credits (200 notional learning hours) of training.
Learners' will be awarded an MBA in Legal Practice should they obtain 180 credits through a combination of programme modules, plus a capstone module worth 60 credits.
